Artists in Vaison la Romain, France
In the fall of 2017 we took a group of watercolor artists to Provence to take in the beauty of France. And as always, France didn't disappoint.
We stayed in the town of Vaison la Romain, about a half hour east of Orange in the Rhone valley. Our in-town hotel gave us perfect access to the town and numerous painting sites. This was complemented by trips to surrounding villages, vineyards, and other rural settings. We also took a full-day excursion through the Luberon.
In addition to painting, we found time to visit French markets, schedule wine and olive oil tastings, and eat at some fabulous restaurants.
