How to check the weather months in advance when planning travel
As we have all seen, the weather around the world has become harder and harder to predict. You may find it hotter or colder than you expect, wetter or drier. It’s always been this way and now it is even more difficult.
Once your trip draws close, you can of course check the 10-day forecast. Don’t expect it to be completely accurate, but it should give you an idea what to expect in terms of temperature and precipitation.
It’s more difficult to judge the likely weather six months or a year in advance, but it can be done to some degree. The trick is to look at historic weather information online so that you can see the typical conditions for a given week in a specific city, region, or country.

On average it rains in London, but you might travel there for a week and see nothing but sunshine. However, on an average day in London it’s likely to rain.
