New farm-to-table food tour to Brittany in April 2024

We’ve just announced a new trip to Brittany, France, in 2024 with a focus on gastronomy!

The trip will be based in St Malo on the north coast of Brittany, with visits to other towns in the region, including Mont Saint Michel. The dates are April 15-22, 2024.

Here are some of the things we will do:

  • Learn how the best crepes are made

  • Visit the oyster farms of Cancalle

  • Attend the Marche de la Cohue (farmers’market) in Dinan

  • Visit Brittany’s oldest operating flour mill

  • Visit the Salt Caramel factory of La Maison Guela

  • Visit Rennes to see one of France’s oldest farmers markets

  • And naturally, we’ll dine at excellent restaurants throughout the tour.

Leading this tour is Simon Renault who grew up in Brittany. After moving to Vermont, Simon started an organic vegetable farm and is now general manager of Scott Farm, an orchard that specializes in heirloom apples.
