So happy to be hiking the Austrian alps
There really isn’t anything like hiking in the alps and it’s not just those rocky peaks all around.
It’s the open pastures that give you the wide vistas. It’s the cows and cow bells. It’s the near limitless shades of green. It’s the cable cars you can ride up to jump-start your hike, saving you the hike up from the valley. And it’s the mountain huts, midway on your hike, where you can have a hearty lunch, with a large hunk of cake.
Well, words don’t do the alps justice, so let me share this photo gallery from our trip to Austria last September. I think the photos speak for themselves.
