Explore the Natural Environment of Costa Rica

January 30 to February 8, 2025

Join us as we explore the diversity of Costa Rica

January 30 to February 8, 2025

In Costa Rica, you will find tropical rainforests, deciduous forests, Atlantic and Pacific coastlines, cloud forests, and mangrove forests — all in a small country sandwiched between two oceans. Costa Rica is:

  • One of the most biodiverse places on the planet

  • Home to some 500,000 species and 12 distinct ecosystems

And there is a commitment by the government, nonprofits, and individuals to preserve the country’s great diversity.

Join us in Costa Rica

Come with Travel Fever Tours and Boise State University’s OSHER Institute for Lifelong Learning to explore the environment of this lovely Central American country. The country is:

  • Lovely

  • Fascinating

  • Educational

  • And it is fun

On this trip we will explore three distinct portions of the country with close-up looks at one of the world’s widest selections of animals, plants, birds, bats, butterflies, and more.

The trip runs for 10 Days/9 Nights with a maximum group size of 12.

We will have a full-time nature guide traveling with our group, with transportation in a dedicated 17-person mini-bus and driver.

Note: Because of cancellations, this trip is now open to everyone. You no longer need to be a member of OSHER at Boise State University.
