Self-Care for Women Moving through Loss

We have noted the large number of women who travel on our trips after the loss of a partner. Previously, they would have traveled independently, together with their spouse, but now that they find themselves single, they join one of our groups for the camaraderie, the security, and the appeal of relatively care-free travel. This is great but we've always wanted to do more for these folks who have gone through difficult times.

Our answer is to offer a new workshop that is specifically for women who have dealt with loss. The trip will feature activities related to self care.  And because we'll be in Andalucia, a lovely portion of Spain, we will also show you the best that this area has to offer.

The workshop will be led by Patty Dunn, veteran of hospice work for over 30 years, and Cicely Carroll, the president of Travel Fever Tours and a retired hospice bereavement counselor.

As we expect most people on this trip will be traveling on their own, we have decided to pay the single supplement ourselves.  No extra charge to you for a single room.

The trip is from September 21-28, 2025 (so not this September, but the next September). It is located in Zahara de la Sierra, a "white village" between Seville and Ronda in southern Spain. It’s a beautiful spot, with a Moorish tower on the top of the hill and a lake stretching down below.
